Welcome to the Turbomachinery Laboratory (TML) at Seoul National University (SNU). TML is a research group within the School of Mechanical Engineering of SNU College of Engineering. Various turbomachines, including gas turbines, play key roles in propulsion, power, transportation, and energy conversion industries worldwide. TML aims to advance the technologies related to these turbomachines to provide energy solutions and to help protect the environment. We work closely with industry, and our research topics cover a wide range of topics.
ABOUT TML
TML consists of a diverse group of students and engineers from all walks of life committed to pushing the state-of-the-art research in turbomachinery. TML’s close ties with leading industrial, academic, and government institutions offer its members opportunities to achieve fundamental solutions to engineering problems of practical importance. TML encourages and has actively participated in collaboration with leading institutions (academic, industrial, and government) all over the world. Furthermore, TML welcomes international students/visitors and offers many international research and networking opportunities for its members.
